"In exercising government nothing is more advantageous than to have good counsellors. A counsellor in the state is like a helmsman in a ship. In a ship some bale out the water, others pull on the ropes, while yet others climb the mast. But the helmsman sits quietly at the stern, and yet does far more than the others." |

which form a basic food source in order to make them resistant to herbicides

provision of diagnostic tests for medical conditions and the disclosure of
such information to third parties? Should gene therapies to treat heritable diseases
be available on the NHS? Is research on stem cells derived from foetal
tissue justified by the medical benefits of being able to grow replacement
body parts? Under what circumstances (if any) would it be
justifiable to clone animals, plants or humans? Is therapeutic cloning more
justifiable? Despite risks of infectious disease should pig organs
be used for transplants when no human donors can be found? |
